Mikayla and Justin’s story started with mutual friends and a house boat. The two grew up in Discovery Bay and crossed paths when one day Mikayla stepped onto Justin’s houseboat and the two hit it off. So when Justin knew he wanted to propose the two were headed to Lake Tahoe. While they decided to take a walk with everything covered in a blanket of snow on a dock, their puppy at their side, Justin asked her to marry him! 

For the shoot, they brought along their pup Hudson, who might be the cutest and I now I need more dogs in my life! We started at Concannon Vineyards and then headed up to Del Valle for some beautiful views of the valley.
