Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire epitomises country life and provided the perfect setting for this editorial. We used the Walled Garden of the hotel for our outdoor ceremony and intimate table setup, which perfectly encapsulated the romantic, ethereal feel of our shoot.
Floral designer Paula Rooney created a breathtaking installation of blossom and delphinium around the archway of our ceremony space, which later transformed into the backdrop for our elegant table setup. I styled the table using a colour palette of pale blues, muted purples and soft neutrals with elegant glass tableware from Crystal Hire and dusky blue Lancaster & Cornish silk runners and napkins. Ester & Erik taper candles provided the perfect finishing touches, along with an abundance of spring blooms and Oh Wonder Calligraphy menu cards, which each featured beautiful calligraphy and a luxurious wax seal.
Our bride wore elegant Suzanne Neville gowns from Anna Bridal Couture, which perfectly embodied both the ethereality of the Walled Garden and the grandeur of the Four Seasons estate. Hair and makeup artist Gemma Sutton highlighted our model Harriet’s natural beauty with soft makeup and lose, undone hair, finished with Gemma’s own handmade hairpieces. A show-stopping pair of Bella-Belle shoes completed our bridal look, with subtle blue embellishments to tie in the overall colour scheme. Meanwhile, our groom Phil looked effortlessly dapper in suits from Stephen Bishop Suiting.
We took huge inspiration from our surroundings for this photoshoot and wanted the heritage of Hampshire to feature within the details of the day. A welcome box, including a bottle of Hampshire gin and a selection of welcoming sweet treats, was styled to greet our guests to the Four Seasons. Our invitation suite combined the deeper tones of our colour palette with soft vellum accents and gold details.
Cake Designer Hayley Elizabeth crafted a show-stopping dessert table, which included an intricately designed main cake with delicate floral detailing and sugar flowers. Hayley also created a selection of beautiful miniature desserts such as macarons, raspberry marshmallows, chocolates and iced biscuits.
